A new year in the making...a new you in the making?

Well, January 2025 has arrived! Putting the usual Christmas, new year plus cold/bugs behind us what has happened so far?

Well..I have already starting working with two new clients who are looking at improving their own personal fitness levels for different reasons. One is based around improving his specific sport rock climbing muscle endurance levels, as well as general strength and conditioning improvements, and the other is training for a hiking trip abroad.

And as well as developing their personal training plans, I have also been working on taking my own training plan into the next 12 weeks phase, and after researching a variety of different options I have finally finished. Part one was to increase my jogging frequency to five or six times a week, as well as cardio, flexibility, weight training and martial arts. So you may see me jogging in the very early hours of the mornings around Ham Hill and the surrounding countryside. 

Started working with a new client once a week over the county border into Wiltshire, and we had our first training session last Friday morning in an amazing part-sheltered outdoor training facility ran by a great chap, who had kindly allowed us to have use of some of his space. To say it was cold there last Friday morning would however be an understatement. It was VERY cold and my thermometer did not get higher than 1 degree, but it was a brilliant experience, with wonderfully bright sunshine and great company.
